We have Node manager in our server, But need Downtime for the application. Is it possible? If possible How? What configurations are required in NM?

  N Krishna Kishore Mahesh, Is there any mechanism like we can stop the NM when we have downtime for the applications. And again start the NM after downtime?

  Maheshkumar Subbaiyan you can shutdown the NM by killing the NM process

  Maheshkumar Subbaiyan it wont affect the entire server, NM is just a monitor process and its used for shutdown and startup the wls instances on a server,so shutting down NM doesn't affect entire server or app deployed on them,only thing is we cant start the instances through admin console and if something happens to the wls instances it cant be auto restarted without NM,apart from this there wont be any issue to the wls instances, users should be able to access the app and console ...etc..should work as usual.
