    1)download apache from httpd.apache.org/download.cgi
    httpd-2.2.17.tar.gz
    2)gunzip httpd-2.2.17.tar.gz
    3)tar xvf httpd-2.2.17.tar.gz
    it will create a directory httpd-2.2.17
    4)./configure --prefix=/home/swami/apache
    5)httpd-2.2.17>make
    6)httpd-2.2.17>make install
